A New Project

While developing a image for a recent posting over on my main blog, I had a vision of old linen postcards. (Look here for some great examples.)

I decided that I would like to try my hand at achieving a similar look with for a series of photographs of places I like. So here is the first one. I call it Beginnings. Come back for more.

Travel begins now,
With a closed door left behind.
Adventure ahead.

Love the poem and the pic. How'd you do that?

Your blue chair pictures are visually pleasing, but there is more to it that that:
the touch of personal involvement is so clever. Personalizing a scene for yourself I mean.
And then there is always the possibility of a quick sit-down anywhere. I love it.
Are we to see one image of you actually sitting in it? Or is that about already?

It all reminds me of the hollow phrase used in (even contemporary) British English:
Pointing to an empty chair, somebody looking for a place to park will say:
"Is anybody sitting there?"
Always cracks me up.
